Job: Clarkewood Consulting – Offering Employment for 8 Graduates!!

Lee Clarke, Managing Director at ClarkeWood Consulting Ltd recently came to the University of Gloucestershire to deliver a seminar to 2nd year students, giving them a little overview of the job market.

He has recently got back to us with the following message:

I met a company in Gloucestershire on Friday who need 8 entry level support developers. Could you ping out my details to your year 3 grads who will be looking for work now and hopefully, I can gain employment for a number of them.

The role is supporting customers who use an ecommerce application online with Amazon, eBay and other online markets. The candidates will need good understanding of Google, HTML, FTP and other web application protocols/languages.

The role involves supporting customers via, skype, email and telephone, working as part of a team, learning the company’s software applications inside out. The company offers an excellent working location and intensive training and would suit any graduate from an IT related degree background.

This is a brilliant opportunity for graduates to get involved in a first time job and experience within the field of IT communications and web developement.

Job: Nerv looking for 2D animators

Nerv and looking for 2D animators primarily (with good Adobe After Effects skills, Illustrator and Photoshop). On the other hand they are flexible, so  anyone good enough with 2D and 3D they’re happy to consider.

It is a 3 month unpaid internship and starting time is ASAP. When reached the end of the internship, the candidate will be reviewed and if  their contribution to the company has been successful, the candidate will be considered for a full-time position.

COMX11 Exhibition Over

The COMX11 Exhibition is now over! Congratulations to all the prize winners. Check the awards page on the COMX11 web site to see who won which prize!

The exhibition saw one of the best turn outs of all COMXs, with  over 150 visitors through the doors including representatives of 25 businesses.  This added great opportunity for all students to show off their skills and who were ready for employment.

Well done to everyone who participated and the very best of luck to all those who are graduating this year!
